Childrens Entertainment

Looking for children's entertainment ideas?

Our site is not just a children's entertainment site for parents, recently it has been a lifeline for Kay from Stalybridge, near Manchester who found herself looking after her 8 year old nephew and 18 month old niece for the weekend. Kay, a single career minded 30-something told us:

"My apartment is just not equipped for children. It's safe enough but unless my niece and nephew bring toys with them the only entertainment I have are paper, pens and a freeview digi-box. I'm not used to entertaining children every day so I was struggling for ideas. I didn't want to give them something to do and leave them to it; I love their company and wanted to join in the fun so I can't tell you just how impressed I was with Entertain the Kids.

I was really surprised how many entertainment ideas they give for free! I didn't have any craft materials in but the games in the Games and Colouring section had us giggling for a good few hours. Even though Millie is too young to understand the dice creature game she still got caught up in the fun. I joined because I thought if they offer so much for free, there must be more bigger and better things available for members, and I was right. Not only did they show me some great days out (with massive discounts on entry fees for special members-only days) but they even gave me ideas on how to keep children entertained during car journeys and that didn't even occur to me beforehand so I'm prepared for that now too.

The search facility is so simple to use, I entered my postcode and how far I wanted to travel. It brought back so many suggestions, I had no idea there was so many outdoor children's entertainment facilities in the area."

The price of a DVD and a Takeaway

Kay didn't think twice about joining when she realised how little it costs. "I can spend £12 on a takeaway and DVD so for a 12 month membership to a site that is going to be my lifeline and potentially save so much more money in the long run, it's nothing really"

Would Kay recommend Entertain the Kids?

"Absolutely! I urge anyone who occasionally looks after children and even busy parents to check out Entertain the Kids. I can't wait to have Lucas and Millie over again, we're doing finger painting next time and I've stocked up on art and craft materials using their helpful Store Cupboard List
